News & Updates

Hey students!  Get moving with MontcoTransitInfo.org.

This website is designed for students – and parents – to help you determine what transportation options are best for you and how to use public transit if it is your first time riding.

The Partnership TMA of Montgomery County would like to thank Easter Seals PROJECT ACTION for its generous support of this site.

Who We Are

Transportation Independence for Transitioning Youth

Transportation is a vital part of our everyday lives. Whether using it for work, leisure or getting to class, we all want to know the fastest, cheapest and least painful way of getting between points A and B. For students who are transitioning from school to the “real world”, their independence depends on being able to make the best transportation choices.

Maps, schedules and phone numbers are available in these pages to put information literally at your fingertips. A frequently asked question section or FAQ allows you to find out what common concerns other beginning riders might have.  The School District Info page offers a handy breakdown of each Montgomery County high school and which buses and trains are located nearby – most within walking distance.

And, just in case you have additional questions or just want a friendly voice to guide you through the all the information, the Mobility Hotline is listed at the bottom of each page. This toll-free number is a unique service for Montgomery County residents who have questions about getting around the region.

Thank you for visiting MontCo Transit Info.com. We hope you will come back again soon!
