Confessions from Our Social Media Intern - Allan!

Today, I had the chance to practice driving without ever going into the street!  The driving simulator was fun and not very different to real-life driving.  My shoes caused me to "crash" several times though.  Mr Mercadante was an awesome teacher!

The Partnership TMA Anticipates Busy Fall 2011 Semester of Travel Training!

As we plan travel-training exercises for fall, let's look back at successes from this past semester (Spring 2011):

  • More than 50 students from Pathways Charter School applied their learnings to get to lunch at Philadelphia Premium Outlets in Limerick
  • E-A-G-L-E-S!  Dozens of North Penn High School students shouted this familiar chant as they caught both the Regional Rail and the Broad Street Line for a fun tour of Lincoln Financial Field
  • The awesome students from Philadelphia Academy Charter School received a personal tour of the new Trenton (NJ) Rail Station from the visitors services liaison and station police!
  • Play ball!  A large (but extremely well-behaved!) group from Wissahickon High School spent a beautiful spring morning at Citizens Bank Park.

G.I. Joe: Retaliation

Who We Are

Transportation Independence for Transitioning Youth

Transportation is a vital part of our everyday lives. Whether using it for work, leisure or getting to class, we all want to know the fastest, cheapest and least painful way of getting between points A and B. For students who are transitioning from school to the “real world”, their independence depends on being able to make the best transportation choices.

Maps, schedules and phone numbers are available in these pages to put information literally at your fingertips. A frequently asked question section or FAQ allows you to find out what common concerns other beginning riders might have.  The School District Info page offers a handy breakdown of each Montgomery County high school and which buses and trains are located nearby – most within walking distance.

And, just in case you have additional questions or just want a friendly voice to guide you through the all the information, the Mobility Hotline is listed at the bottom of each page. This toll-free number is a unique service for Montgomery County residents who have questions about getting around the region.

Thank you for visiting MontCo Transit Info.org. We hope you will come back again soon!
