Training Programs - A Fun Way to Learn Public Transportation
Most people learn by doing. That is why travel-training sessions with The Partnership TMA have helped hundreds of individuals to use public transportation by increasing their self-confidence and removing the "fear factor" many of us experience the first time we try something new.
Designed for individuals or groups, travel training allows you to work closely with experts to: (1) identify any mobility issues; (2) detail available transportation options; (3) explain each option's advantages and disadvantages, and (4) familiarize you with the mode of your choice.
Fun workshops are designed to introduce you to mass transit in the Philadelphia region, and a special trip with trained staff caps off the class to allow you to test the concepts you have learned - this is where the rubber meets the road!
The Partnership TMA staff has received extensive training from Easter Seals PROJECT ACTION to ensure we are knowledgeable and well-prepared to address even the most daunting mobility challenges.
